Don’t treat subscriptions as the default. If customer usage is uneven or credit-based, test top-ups or a hybrid model that lets customers pay for additional value when they need it rather than forcing everyone into a recurring plan.
Monetization should match how customers experience value. Better alignment can reduce purchase friction while preserving opportunities to capture revenue from heavier usage.
Review your last 90 days of usage: where do subscription limits or renewal terms conflict with customer behavior, and what small top-up pricing experiment could you run for that segment?
