Design business continuity around the work Jira enables, not just restoring Jira itself. Identify which critical workflows must continue during an outage, how teams will operate temporarily, and how records will be reconciled afterward.
A technically successful recovery can still leave customers and teams stranded while the system is unavailable. Continuity plans protect service delivery before recovery is complete.
For each Jira-dependent workflow, document: What must continue during an outage? What is the temporary fallback? Who owns it? How will offline changes be reconciled once Jira returns?
