Before adding more AI tools, examine whether employees have enough trust and autonomy to use the tools already available. Adoption stalls when people expect experimentation to be discouraged, second-guessed, or punished.
Tooling creates little value without consistent use. A trusted environment can turn employee experimentation into repeatable workflows, while another software purchase may simply add cost and complexity.
Ask your team: “What decision, permission, or safeguard would make you comfortable using AI in your work this week?” Then remove one recurring barrier.
