Founders who remain attached to assumptions formed under the previous platform can miss new customer expectations and sources of advantage. Early, evidence-based adaptation preserves strategic options while change is still manageable.
Ask: “If this technology becomes the default infrastructure within three years, which part of our product, positioning, or business model would we redesign first—and what small test can we run this quarter?”
