When financial risk triggers fear, separate specific warnings you can investigate from diffuse anxiety that adds noise. Treat fear as an input to examine, not an automatic reason to retreat.
Founders cannot eliminate uncertainty, but they can improve how they respond to it. Distinguishing actionable concerns from background fear supports clearer decisions without ignoring real financial risk.
Before your next risky decision, write down each financial fear and ask: “What exactly could happen, what evidence supports it, and what action would reduce or test this risk?”
