When a critical software vendor reorganizes its training, treat it as an operational change—not just a new course list. Map old courses to their replacements, identify changed skill coverage, and assign learning by role so capability gaps do not emerge.
Outdated or mismatched training can leave administrators and users applying obsolete practices, creating inconsistent workflows and greater dependence on a few experts.
Ask: Which roles rely on Jira, what did each role learn under the retired curriculum, and which new course now covers—or no longer covers—those capabilities?
